New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India has announced that the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations for 2027 will begin on February 16.
According to the Board’s official notification, the date sheets have been finalised after the completion of the List of Candidates (LOC) submission process by schools.
“Date sheets are prepared based on the data submitted in the List of Candidates (LOC) by the schools. As the LOC submission process has been completed and the Board now possesses the final data regarding subject combinations opted by students, CBSE has finalised the date sheets for the board examinations scheduled to commence from 16 February 2027 (Tuesday),” the notice said.
The notification stated that students will appear in 83 subjects in Class 10 and 121 subjects in Class 12.
The CBSE said it had considered more than 40,000 subject combinations while preparing the date sheets to ensure that students opting for multiple subjects do not have examinations scheduled on the same day.
All examinations will begin at 10.30 am, according to the Board.
